The Olivia Rae Design Academy is a nonprofit organization dedicated to increasing access to arts education in low-income communities worldwide. Our mission is to empower individuals to explore their creativity and develop new skills through our core programs: Craftacademy.org, Fabric Distribution, and Volunteer Outreach.

Research has shown that sewing and crafting classes can help individuals develop fine motor skills, problem-solving abilities, focus and mindfulness, and creativity. Everyone deserves the opportunity to explore and develop practical life skills. These skills reduce poverty and benefit the workforce by increasing entrepreneurship opportunities and developing transferable skills and life skills for youth. We are committed to working with low-income and marginalized communities worldwide to provide access to high-quality arts education.

We envision a world where everyone has the opportunity to develop sewing and crafting skills. They could provide for their families through handmade items, mending, entrepreneurship, and employability skills. The possibilities are as limitless as the imagination we grow in our students.
